    • Architecture
    • Design (fashion, jewellery, decoration, art)
    • Utilities (gadgets, household and office devices, games)

Conditions of participation

    • The challenge is open to everyone except BEEVERYCREATIVE employees and their relatives (and we are so sad because of this!).
    • You can submit as many entries as you’d like.
    • You can enter as a team, although you must name a team leader and in case of winning only one prize will be awarded!
    • The team leader is responsible for receiving the prize and should be nice enough to share it with other team members.

Submit your files

    • 3D model in STL format
    • STEP or IGS format files and native file formats of the CAD-software
    • A render measuring 800 pixels X 600 pixels (minimum) in jpeg format
    • A TXT or DOC file with a short description of your object and the category you are entering your model
    • Optional — you may also submit a video — Bee creative!

3D Modelling requirements

    • Model parts must fit, be scaled to or be cut into pieces of no greater than the maximum printing size of the printer. If your model is a larger object, please design it to break down into sections.
    • Your 3D design files must be exported in STL format. You must also include STEP or IGS format files and the native file-formats of the CAD-software they were made in.
    • Objects greater than the maximum printing size can be assembled by snap fit, with bolts, glue or screws.
    • Very important: the model has to be 3D printable. For best results models should follow ALL of the modelling guidelines presented here

Selection Criteria

    • Successfully 3D test printed entries will be judged by a jury and the 3 coolest models selected will be the 3 top winners, one top winner per category.
    • Entries will be judged on a scale of 1 to 5, based on creativity, feasibility in 3D printing on BEETHEFIRST and awesomeness!
